Over the weekend, our endangered Blue Whales were spotted in California! They had come early on looking for food as they usually arrive in the waters near California in the middle of May.
4 whales were reported to have been sighted and previous sightings had been reported in the last week.

I, myself am on my way to California for an International Summit tomorrow. Whilst over there I will have the opportunity to meet with some heavy hitters in hopes to actualise my environmental advocacy on helping our cetaceans survive.

We are lucky in Australia too that our marine life brings us so much beauty. Nature is the world’s best asset. Fingers crossed I get to see some Blue Whales myself!

We’re thrilled to have 2011 Miss Earth Australia, Deedee Zibara as Lisa Blue’s Ocean Ambassador, regularly reporting on the issues, splendour and magic of whales & dolphins.
